When you use Neighborpicker, you’re agreeing to all the rules below.

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Neighborpicker (“Neighborpicker,” “we,” or “our”) regarding your use of the Neighborpicker website (“Website”) and the services provided therein. By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Website.

  1. Registration and Community Joining

   1.1 User Registration: To join the Neighborpicker community, you must register an account on the Website. During the registration process, you will be required to provide accurate and complete information.

   1.2 Community Joining: By paying a non-reimbursable fee, you can join a community on the Website. You will be required to specify the type of property you are seeking.

   1.3 Non-reimbursable Funds: The fee paid by the User to join a community is non-reimbursable, irrespective of the outcome or success of the project.

  1. Land Acquisition and Proposal

   2.1 Sufficient Funds: When the funds from multiple Users in a community are sufficient, Neighborpicker will find a suitable piece of land to build the community.

   2.2 Draft Plan: Neighborpicker will present all Users in the community with a draft plan of the settlement, including the layout of the community and the proposed individual properties.

   2.3 Acceptance or Rejection of Proposal: Users have the option to accept or reject the proposed plan. If a User rejects the proposal, Neighborpicker may present a new proposal or allow the User to exclude themselves from the community.

  1. Down Payment and Project Initiation

   3.1 Down Payment: If a User accepts the proposal, they will be required to make a down payment as specified by Neighborpicker. The down payment amount may vary depending on the nature and scope of the project.

   3.2 Sufficient Down Payments: If a sufficient number of Users in the community proceed with the down payment, Neighborpicker will initiate the process of finding construction companies and investors to start building the new settlement.

   3.3 Insufficient Down Payments: If an insufficient number of Users make the down payment, Neighborpicker reimburses those Users who did make the down payment, without any liability to other Users.

  1. Project Execution and Success

   4.1 Construction and Investments: If enough Users make the down payment, Neighborpicker will endeavor to find suitable construction companies and investors to commence the construction of the new settlement.

   4.2 Success and Liability: Neighborpicker does not guarantee the success or completion of any stage of the project, including land acquisition, construction, or funding. Neighborpicker shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from the project’s outcome.

  1. User Responsibilities

   5.1 Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and throughout your use of the Website.

   5.2 Compliance with Laws: You shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations while using the Website and participating in the Neighborpicker community.

   5.3 User Conduct: You shall not engage in any unlawful, abusive, threatening, or harmful conduct while using the Website or interacting with other Users.

  1. Intellectual Property

   6.1 Website Content: All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Neighborpicker or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
